In order to learn the experience on the science and technology companies’ building and running of incubators, and improving the capabilities of local maker space and other agencies providing new incubating services, a practical training class, organized jointly by Suzhou Productivity Promotion Center and incubator association of science and technology companies, opened between July 23 and July 24. Trainees were sent to Hangzhou, where business mentors were invited to give them lectures on the building and running of the incubator. They then toured and inspected the national-level science park of the Zhejiang University, and some innovative and entrepreneurship service platforms like Dream Town and Bio Club. 

During the training period, the founder of Hangzhou Baikong Technology Co., Ltd. shared his own entrepreneurial experience and lectured on how the incubator can help start-ups, and how to develop a company following to the laws of the market; lecturers from Bio Club explained in details the development and operation mode of the company and focused on the existing incubation projects and services they provide. After attending the class, trainees showed great interest to the new-style incubator mode and asked some questions about the investment mode, service mode and market operation.

By way of the combination of lectures and field study, the training made an impressive presentation to those trainees who do the incubator operation job. It not only helped them expand their thinking on how to build a maker space and other new-style incubator agencies, but also offered an opportunity for them to personally experience the new concept, ideas and models of the upgraded incubators.
